What about our second vodka infusion? What happened when I added circus peanuts to vodka?

Well, after a week the circus peanuts were partially dissolved. What did the solids taste like? Circus peanuts that burned from the vodka. I didn't hate it. The liquid itself tasted almost like a marshmallow vodka. I really liked it.

Well, it's been a week since I added the Werther's Originals to vodka. And what was the result??

It's caramel. It's alcoholic caramel. Like, that's all you can taste. A ton of caramel. That's not a bad thing, it'd be great added to something like a coffee or a milkshake to add a little caramel flavoring.

Hey folks - I'm putting circus peanuts and Werther's Originals in separate containers of vodka for a week...

...Or until something interesting happens.

I set these up on Saturday, so will check back this Saturday.

For the record, my wife has already checked in on the Werther's in vodka and has given it a big seal of approval. We'll see after a full week...

Which infusion do you think will work best? Or do you think they'll both be amazing / awful?

Me: One week ago - I'm putting an entire bag of Trolli Sour Electric Crawlers into Smirnoff Blue Raspberry Lemonade for a week or...until something interesting happens.

Well it's been a week, so let's see if these crawlers are electric!

The gummy worms puffed up, a lot. They absorbed a ton of the vodka and when I ate them...they tasted like burning as they melted the moment they entered my mouth. It was not great.

The shot of the infusion? It tasted medicinal. Just oh so bad. The mixture was such a huge mistake.

0 out of 10. Will never do again.

Well, it's been a week and let's see if we can...taste the rainbow!

As I previously posted, last weekend I put an entire bag of Skittles into orange vodka. One week later, I tried it.

First, there was not a single Skittle remaining. It largely dissolved with some floating sugar in the vodka.

Second - it tasted like Skittles. Somehow every Skittle flavor at once. The Skittles flavor overpowered everything. It was...actually, I liked it a lot. Very surprised.

I mixed it with some Diet Mountain Dew after and, once again, all I tasted with Skittles.

So, if you like Skittles, worth trying.

I'm putting an entire bag of Skittles into super cheap orange vodka for a week or...until something interesting happens.

Immediately upon shaking, the vodka turned that orangish-brown color and the Skittles started to lose their color.

We'll see what happens.

Will report back in a week!

Well, it's been a week and I look at the mixture and have to say - what Lemonheads?

As I posted last week, I put Lemonhead candies in Smirnoff Pink Lemonade vodka and let it sit. One week later - the Lemonhead candies completely dissolved! So, no candy to try.

How was the shot? It tasted like lemonade. Period. A slight burn, but basically just tasted like straight up lemonade. Barely tasted alcoholic at all. 10 out of 10, WILL do again.

Mixing this into any lemonade it only enhances the lemonade flavor and, again, doesn't taste alcoholic. Which is a little dangerous, but tastes so good. The mixture was finished off the night we opened it as everyone around wanted a taste.

This past weekend, I decided to put Lemonheads in Smirnoff Pink Lemonade Vodka for a week, or until something interesting happens...he once again said channeling his inner Ryan Doka.

After the last time with the Sour Patch Kids, I wanted to do another one of these mixtures again. Almost immediately as I added the Pink Lemonade Vodka, which is pink by the way, to the Lemonheads candy, it turned orange.

We jarred this on Saturday, so I will be back with a report on the results next week. But, it's looking very interesting so far!

Well, it's been a week and I think it's time we enter the Sour Patch.

As I said on Sunday, I jarred Sour Patch Kids Snapple Fruit Flavor Mix in orange vodka last Sunday. Sunday night I opened it up and tried the concoction. The verdict?

First, the surviving gummies. They tasted like flavorless burning. That's about it.

Next, the infused vodka. Imagine orange vodka. Now add in a huge punch of additional citrus and pineapple. It worked and worked well. There was no undertone of sour at all, the malic acid somehow just enhanced everything after a week. 8 out of 10. Would do again.

Also, it tasted delicious mixed into a drink...
