the soundscape of this album is incredible, wow... i cant believe a song like tekka can exist right next to dsco and they can jointly be some of the coolest songs ive heard all year. velocity was pretty good, fruitcake and cookies and sept are both

this album is just as good as winning strip - a bit more crazy, but manages to keep its quality throughout the whole runtime. the production in this is as good as that album too. two songs blew me away though - やっつけ仕事 (大名遊ビ編)

this album is so fun, mixing a lot of different genres together (predominantly with pop and rock), with excellent production, and then her vocals on top which are great as well!! love it!! favourite song is 浴室, what a bop

many years ago, i listened to this album a lot, and i could easily say it was one of my favourites of all time. it was so lush and optimistic, it would cheer me up any time i'd put it on, and the production was better than anything i'd

Drake's latest release, ICEMAN, marks the first installment in his ambitious 2026 comeback trilogy, but it struggles to deliver a compelling narrative or musical innovation. The album spans over two and a half hours, focusing on Drake's attempts to respond to past setbacks in his career, particularly a high-profile defeat in hip-hop rivalries. Critics note that Drake's signature introspective themes—fame, relationships, and personal grievances—are repeated extensively without new insight, resulting in a project that feels more like self-pity than art. Production is criticized for being sparse and uninspired, with only two tracks featuring long-time collaborator 40, leaving the rest sounding thin and disconnected. Attempts at confrontational or humorous lyrics often fall flat, turning once playful or sharp wit into awkward or banal statements. While some lines hint at moments of amusement or vulnerability, they are overshadowed by the persistent focus on streaming numbers, legal disputes, and personal slights. Overall, ICEMAN represents a missed opportunity for Drake to evolve or meaningfully address his public struggles. Fans of his earlier, quirky charm might feel nostalgia for the Drake who once turned cringe comedy into cultural impact, but this album largely confirms his decline in relevance and creative vitality.
