Likely Jan LukasWhen I was a small-town reporter (covering several such small towns) I used to joke that I was doing pennance on behalf of these communities by attending the routine #CouncilMeetings.
Genuinely, it was sad to see such poor attendance as yes, even in small communities, a LOT goes on there. And since these often completely coincidentally have meetings the same night as one another, most aren't even attended by ANY media. 😢
