Saw IRON LUNG last night.

I think I'm relieved that the Alamo Drafthouse didn't have a special menu for this movie.

I don't know if y'all see a lot of movies at Alamo Drafthouse, but that's basically the only place I will see a film. The food is decent, the beer is OK (noticed fewer local beers last time I was there), but they are about to roll out a change that is so fucking dumb, I can only suspect that there is no one left in 'leadership' from before the company was bought.

Instead of the way they've done it for nearly 30 years, they now want people to order food on their phones. In a dark theater, they want people to pull out their phones, turn on their bright-ass screens, scan a QR code, and order food.

They've spent nearly 30 years 'training' customers to keep their phones dark and out of sight, and now... this. I send them feedback telling them they're going to lose customers, starting with me, if they don't roll back this ridiculous change.

I'm serious, this has made me unreasonably pissed off.

If this pisses you off too, send them an email: [email protected]
