I don't know why, but when I think of the best #film #villain or bad guy, #AlSwearengen from #Deadwood always comes to mind first. Absolutely fantastically developed and portrayed. #LoPan is also a blast, even if it's not as multi-layered. #filmsky #tvsky #hbo

An online sale of some vintage goods I was preparing to ship is looking like it might be a scam instead, so now I just have a #PortentousCardboardBox sitting in front of me, exactly at the moment as #AlSwearengen is talking to his own version of the same in this episode of #Deadwood I'm rewatching (S02e08).
What’s the best episode of #television you’ve ever watched? Recently: #ThePenguin #S01E04 #Deadwood: In the show, the circumstances of Smith's demise were changed to a gradual decay due to a brain tumor, though he was mercy-killed by #AlSwearengen (Ian McShane) before dying from the cancer. #WTF

Can someone help a #boomer out? My oldest is trying to explain the term based to me and having trouble getting it, BTW, not necessarily the radical right version of the term as #BannonTwoShirts uses it. Would you say that #AlSwearengen from #Deadwood is #Based?
