I also think that's possibly where Mohammed Deif died? that or possibly on the first day.

On 17 October 2023, a massive explosion at al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City killed hundreds of civilians sheltering in a courtyard. Together with Dr Ghassan Abu-Sittah, a reconstructive surgeon working in the hospital when the blast occurred, we reconstructed the strike and its consequences.

Starting with the death counts being in what appears to be ascending order?
Despite the references for the lower counts BOTH mentioning the 471 body count from #GazaMOH and mentioning it more prominently then the lower numbers.
The 250 figure is particularly ridiculous.

A spokesperson of the U.S. government says the Biden administration doesn’t think it is “appropriate” for there to be an international investigation into the destruction of the hospital in Gaza. Why would the U.S. oppose such an investigation if it believes Israel didn’t do it?
UPDATED - slightly less ambiguous now.
I vaguely remembered early reports of undisputed #IDF strikes on at least one #hospital in #Gaza (with fewer casualties than the recent incident).
But it was difficult to find them in the flood of reports about the more controversial incident.
