Classically there's the #BeeTrain #GirlsWithGuns Trilogy, Canaan and #GunslingerGirl. Now in the last year #LycorisRecoil and #AkibaMaidWars have thrown into the mix.
#AkibaMaidWars is a fabulously absurd premise.
To begin with, for those who don't know the first permanent Maid Cafe in Akihabara began operation in 2001. Meaning both dates put on screen in this pilot predate Maid Cafes.
This is a completely fantastical alternate history.
The first episode of #AkibaMaidWars was great. But they should have opened with a #Goodfellas reference.
