Following up on this post - we changed our content retention settings to 730 days (2 years) as an initial trial.

As a result, we do not need to upgrade at this time. This keeps the #AkademieNL server healthy 😊

Just three months since our last upgrade, we have to upgrade our server database **again**.

However, we have the option to try and reduce the need for it by removing old posts from other servers. How do the people on #AkademieNL feel about this? What would be an okay timeframe to do so (365 days too fast or not)?

Does the #AkademieNL folk have thoughts on defederating/blocking the Bluesky bridge?

These accounts cross-post with the @bsky.brid.gy at the end of the handle. They create a range of issues, but are also a potential information source for you.
