I'm trying to get schedule information on the #JFKAirport #AirTrain. The Port Authority website prominently displays a map that has been inaccurate since January 2023 (no service to Terminal 1, which was demolished). There is no schedule posted anywhere except a PDF from 2015. If you call the Port Authority's hotline, there is a recorded message that says service is available 24/7 but has no schedule or route info. I guess I could leave a message?
It should not be this hard.
PANYNJ approved construction for a $160 million project that will add a pedestrian bridge and Northeast Corridor station for Elizabeth and Newark residents.
Working from #Redmond, stopping over in #NewYork 🇺🇸
Well, I had time to circle #AirTrain #JFK 3 times after a second round of #Microsoft #UX workshops #BlackBowler #TimeWarp to October 2005 😎
So I was standing in line for the special $8.25 ( + $1 card fee) #MetroCard for the #AirTrain to #JFK, and suddenly people are calling out "they are open, go go go!" and the lines gradually become a crowd surging over to the gates which are in fact all standing open.
And as I'm passing through the gate the speakers say "AirTrain fees are temporarily waived at this time, please proceed to the gates".
What's up with that, anyway?
