RT @wearegenaq: #MEE2023 has come to an end!
We had the chance to learn from the latest innovations in the energy sector and promote our💧#AirtoWater technology.
A huge thanks to @EUeic, it has been a privilege to exhibit at the 🇪🇺 EU Pavilion our water solution to the ME and the🌍 world.

And also, tell people 2 look around in towns/cities etc. as most businesses are heated (&cooled) by the #AirToAir #A2A air conditioning variety of #HeatPump & these are often in poorly insulated buildings
Business &commercial sector in U.K. seem much further ahead with this transition, as they appreciate the #A2A variety *also* does cooling in the summer which the #AirToWater #A2W variety can’t when paired with radiators
They just work if designed/installed well
I thinks it helps if people understand this is a transition and not always a drop in replacement for a gas boiler if going the #AirToWater route
Most houses will need a little all the way to a lot of *system* changes (eg pipework upgrades, radiator replacements, space for a hot water cylinder)
Insulation is important, but is just part of the maths calc. of what size heat pump, radiator size and pipework size to install/upgrade to, so not to worry too much
I would look at Heat Geek installer map in the first instance for competent people as that’s the most important thing to get right at this early phase of the #HeatPump transition in the UK

Also, whether it is #AirToAir (known as Air Conditioning) or #AirToWater based #HeatPump #ASHP, one of the most important things is *not* to be oversized in kW output.
The results of both approaches in two houses are in some of my posts here on Mastodon
