The #Hurricane Hunters made a public tour in 2017, showing off one of the specially-modified #airplanes used to fly into tropical #storms to help inform forecasts for that storm and future ones. The data they collect is invaluable and saves lives by improving forecasting the track of a storm and its intensity.
