Reality is _really_ selling me on Hangzhou right now! (For context: Yan and Flo of this channel have just spent five months on the Silk Road travelling _from_ China. While this detour isn't surprising, it wasn't advertised either.)

XHS shows me shops in Hangzhou gearing up for Christmas - to the vibe of crashing a Japanese pastry café into a German Christmas market. I can already imagine the conversations with friends next year
Friend: You're going to _China_ in December? Why?
Me: Rest up a bit... Getting away from it all, you know...
And then I'll spend ages in fake snow with Yule tree pastries at a café close to West Lake, as the huge Christmas junkie I am.
@ListenBrainz Seeing track durations when looking for tracks to add would be really helpful.
Had an idea about how to get better rep for princesses in Mario games. In the Mario & Luigi series the brothers are often only known by their outfits, which means we just need the core cast to be doing a silly cross-dressing party when the plot starts and the "princesses" get captured. Then Peach as Mario and Daisy as Luigi can go rescue the actual Mario Bros.
Would give them a whole new set of brick jokes to put into the dialogue.
Just realized that with current switch 2 tech they might be able to make the dream real of multi-console drop-in drop-out multiplayer with gameshare.
Cause gameshare is actually the host console rendering multiple viewpoints worth of gameplay and streaming it to the other consoles using the standard the WiiU used from console to tablet. Since the other consoles don't need to start up specialised software it should be very quick to connect.
The ideal situation would let each included console contribute available save data (like using it to functionally visit a friend's animal crossing village without launching the game first). Cause that's been a problem ive had with similar solutions for muktiplayer in the past that dissuades players from playing locally together since nothing done on the host can reflect the guest, punishing the guest if they decide to later invest in the game also.
*snrk* Yep, the sign says "A Place To Eat". I have no idea if this is a real chain* or if I ever get a chance to write a C-drama, but I dearly want to make one set in "Sweden" (a studio) where all the signs says things like
•Bokställe (book place)
•Läsställe (reading place)
•Ätställe (eating place)
•Klädställe (clothes place)
•IckeIKEA (not-IKEA)
(*the name is genious, it _should_ be used!)
why not the whole hog? Financial transaction tax, wealth tax, capital gains tax, windfall tax and oh yeah, taxfree first $10K
Eclipse season’s ending, right?
That means the House’s new speaker’ll get booted and Israel and Biden’ll wake the F up.
Right??
