My trip to Titan Moon today does sort of leave me wondering, tho. When I asked what other titles they had in the same genre of CLEAR, they didn't really have any in stock and one of the folks wasn't even really familiar with the cyberpunk genre. The silver lining was that the other person behind the counter had some inkling of some of the more well-known titles.

That kinda made me sad, especially in these, the "Silicon Hills", that the proprietors didn't seem to know much beyond the Cyberpunk 2077 titles when talking about the cyberpunk genre in general. It also made me sad that they don't keep any of those titles in stock, which means people aren't just going to randomly stumble across them. I'm not sure if that's because the owners just don't know much about the genre or because they don't sell.

In any case, this sounds like an educational opportunity for Yours Truly to maybe see if I can't get more of a cyberpunk presence into Titan Moon! Maybe the next time I lose my job, I'll see if Titan has any openings and see what I can do, because I think that might be a pretty fun gig as an #AgingCyberpunk.

Learning (and getting used to) new paradigms is hard, especially the older one gets.

But this #AgingCyberpunk is doing it, come hell or high water! I may grumble and grouse about it, but I'm gonna do it nonetheless, you mark my words.

I'm pot committed now.

@socketwench @Wrewdison @thegibson I think most of us #AgingCyberpunk types have moved on to bourbon by now...

Givin' the heart a rest so's we can give our livers a workout instead!

A brief look at what defines #naturecore #forestcore and #solarpunk has me still wondering what label I should be using. I'm on #CortexImplant because I'm a geek who has worked in software development my whole corpo life, but I'm a child of the countryside at heart.

I grew up in rural England wandering day and night through ancient woodland and hillsides dotted with sheep. Now my house is a Florida bungalow surrounded by tropical flora and fauna and not the Cotswold cottage that my teenage self had planned. Global/local rural/virtual social/introvert the paradoxes run deep.

Ah well, guess I'm not going to find a neat label, and I'm not looking for a design aesthetic. I'm a messy human who loves trees and cats and birds and command line interfaces...

Oh, and rambling on for no good reason. I'm all about that!

Ordered a 3.5inch floppy drive this morning. Stupidly excited but I've only got a couple of disks that I want to archive. Might have to find some more.

Listening to #OzricTentacles 2015 #album Technicians Of The Sacred as I wash up and make a shopping list. Chores go quicker with psychedelic prog rock!
