You can question a country's government without supporting another country to overthrow it. Who are Americans to decide which countries to sanction and overthrow? At what cost? Under the guise of "democracy" or some vaguely defined word of "national security"? The reality is this kind of stuff isn't bound to one U.S. administration, it is a spool threaded across U.S. administrations.
