Forgot to post this on Wednesday, but if you are in the DC/MD/VA area, Kankouran West African Dance Company is having their annual dance and drum conference this weekend. Still plenty of classes scheduled (taking place at the Marriott Capitol Hill on L Street NE). The big performance is Sat nite at Cramton Auditorium at Howard University. This is the oldest and biggest African Dance/Drum conference in the US. Come out and enjoy.
