The idea of transferring ones consciousness to another body is nothing new, but it added so much weight to the plot the fact that it actually terminates your original consciousness here instead of it actually being transferred.
This movie was SAD on many levels. The primary reason being that in this dystopian not so fiction, it seems women, especially older women have had their rights seriously infringed upon by the major institutions in society. The unchecked greed that leaves children houseless in the streets is something that obviously resonates today in the real world.
Add on to that the circumstances the main character Gwen is put into when she loses her job and then cannot afford to put her child into a good school. #Advantageous #Netflix
