Flood has taken a few years to finish and was originally a relatively simple short story about a man’s grief amongst impassive nature. It has taken a few twists since then.
A loss, a reconnection and an intriguing group of people who believe in reincarnation sets Gregg off on a journey across the UK, unclear whether he is running, searching or being carried by an unseen current. A shadow follows, people reveal their stories and as the winter sets in, his past and present seem determined to find him.
