Mind ShamblesLots of thinking about barriers at todays meeting. Several testimonies were about barriers, and bringing them down, and 1 last about how we build barriers as children to protect us, that then stifle us as adults.
This sent me thinking on what are the differences between a child and an adult? I feel like the youngest in any room/meeting I am ever in, maybe linked to my autism?
However, for me, the differences (excluding physical) are simply:
Time,
Information received,
Skills learned.
We are all just children with more time and practice. We would always give children the time to learn, and maybe the world needs to treat people more like children who need coaching, than people who need to comply. Also, maybe putting power into the hands of a very few, who are also just older children is not wise. After all, it takes a village to raise a child.
