It's actually not that I am "good" or not at making friends, but I have to accept the reality that friendship in adulthood changes and becomes more different compared to when I was a child. We are finally able to filter out toxic people from becoming our unwanted friends. Backbiting, simply: we don't tolerate that behavior, and they don't count as friends. Also, when we grow up, our free will is tested. For example, my free will is to learn to believe, submit, and worship God. Everything belongs to Him, The Most Merciful. Therefore, those acquaintances who don't share my beliefs and try to take advantage of me or take my beliefs for granted are not comfortable for us, and we need to stay away from them.
