When she first came she was stoic, let everything wash over her. I didn't realise how difficult the previous months must have been, her home and family gone.
We worked on her setting boundaries, learned to communicate, explored the unknown outdoors.
Now she can tell me what she likes, how she wants to be touched (not on her nails...), and chatters away at me all day. And she keeps my routine! My cuddle bug.
