OK, #AdobongManok is simmering. I'm doing something different tonight, I'm making it with Lee Kum Kee soy sauce (light and dark), instead of Kikkoman. Datu Puti Premium Cane Vinegar, boxed chicken broth (just for more flavor and to make sure there's enough liquid to simmer for at least an hour), lots of garlic, black pepper, and bay laurel leaves.
Brown japonica rice is soaking.
I should have bought some green peppers, but peppers are so expensive, now. $5/lb at the supermarket.
