Je viens enfin d'écouter la première saison du podcast Serial, qui enquête sur la mort d'Hae Min Lee et de la personne qui a été condamnée Adnan Syed. Pendant les épisodes, ils expliquent qu'on peut aller voir les documents dont ils parlent sur leur site. Sauf que, « grâce » au New York Times qui a racheté le podcast en 2020, plus rien n'est disponible. Un rappel de plus que le NYT est un gros journal de merde.

Heureusement qu'il reste la waybackmachine.

Adnan Syed (from the infamous ‘Serial’ podcast) is free

In a court order Thursday, Judge Jennifer Schiffer granted Syed a sentence reduction to time served, allowing him to remain free. Syed’s conviction was vacated in 2022 and he was released and has remained out of prison since, even though the Maryland Supreme Court upheld a lower appellate court’s decision to reinstate his conviction last year.

The victory for Syed, however, is not tied to his innocence
