@Support #adminneedhelp Hey, I've been having problems with empty ghost follows... this is a new instance, and earlier today I noticed I had a problem with IPv6... I disabled it on the server, but DNS was still AAAA. So I deleted it. maybe flush my instance?
Can you think of any reason or anything I need to do to resolve my connection issue with mastodon.social?
Last time around I couldn’t deal with DMs due to lack of spoons, that is not an issue now, so my DMs are open, but always remember, for more efficiency it is in 9 of 10 times better to write me a public/unlisted message, especially when you have questions, so I can boost the questions I can’t answer at the moment.
It’s what I’ve been doing lately anyways, always just boosting when I can’t answer. There’s a chance that someone else can. Remember that you can use #NeedHelp and #AdminNeedHelp

Can the template in

safely point to a url
https://a.b/.well-known/webfinger?resource={uri}
and then be replaced by
https://c.d/.well-known/webfinger?resource={uri}
without users addressed as @[email protected] to notice?
(assuming I copied the setup of Mastodon from a.b to c.d)
