Verona, wonderful city. Dare I say, quite possibly even more beautiful than Rome.

I have only been here as a day trip from the Garda Lake, but I can definitely see myself returning to the city alone for a long weekend.

Here you can see the Ponte Prieta Bridge, the Campanile of the Cathedral of Verona, the San Giorgio in Braida church, and the motion blur in the Adige river with thanks to a somewhat longer shutter time.

Verona

The Italian city of love, as it is the city where supposedly the ultimately sad love story of Romeo and Juliet took place. It's a beautiful old town, especially at the iconic and over two millennia old Ponte Pietra (Stone Bridge), looking out over the Adige river. I was lucky with this colourful evening sky. The water level that year was very low, laying bare the rocks that cause the rapids in the river.
