Almost got my claws on Adderall again. Just gotta get real cozy with a lot of smaller pharmacies nearby so I can hopefully dodge the DEA blocking larger pharmacies from placing orders.
Finally got an appointment for a new psychiatrist so I can spend money for the privilege of playing Schedule II Phone Tag!
"Hey do you guys have Adderall?"
"No"
"Any mixed amphetamine salts?"
"No"
Repeat five to twenty times, get a confirmation, email psychiatrist with address, get script filled...
... and they're out by the time your doctor send in the script.
Oh boy! 
Calling several-dozen pharmacies to check if they have the medicine that enables me to call several-dozen pharmacies.
But the doctors can't do this for us because each pharmacy has a secret limit on how much medicine they can get.

After almost a year of interrupted or unavailable #Adderall I finally have a new psych NP and a new prescription for #Vyvanse and I’m almost in tears imagining actually being able to do my job, manage relationships, !READ! without constant force and terror of failure. I needed to try something new anyways, Adderall effectiveness was reducing after 7+ years, although I’m not looking forward to the month long process to find the right dose again.
Waking up and not worrying about rationing my medication is a great feeling. The monthly ritual of trying to refill in an ongoing shortage is mental torture.
