I've learned from an early age to NEVER EVER click on an ad because of the very real possibility of getting malware.

That, by the way, has happened at least more than once on my part when I was a kid, and I've learned my lesson from it since.

And who would've guessed that the ADS themselves would've evolved into malware and spyware?

That's why I use an ad blocker, because I want to protect myself from not only accidentally clicking on an ad, but also to prevent loading literal spyware on my device.

Oh, and malware-ridden ads never went away, and has even become more prevelant again.

I swear, having an ad blocker is a necessity for browsing the modern web, because of how deceitful and invasive ads have become.

If you don't have an ad blocker, PLEASE consider installing uBlock Origin. Once you install it, it's like a breath of fresh air from continuously inhaling toxic fumes your whole life.

@dellway Not just "no" but HELL NO!

If your site (or app) depends on showing unwilling people manipulative crap, your site and your business model are broken.

If you fight ad blockers, I'll either circumvent that or go elsewhere. And so will millions of others.

#AdBlockers are self defense.
