#ActuallyAutsitic realization today: I've said for a while that these days I don't typically use AAC. But a huge part of that reason is that I'm using text communication that typically isn't seen as AAC -- For every word I speak with my voice during the day, I probably use Slack for 5 word at work.
It's a good reminder for me. AAC can be part of universal access. My team communicates extensively in Slack, not as an accommodation, but for other reasons. But that means I'm less worn out by speec.
