My problem with committing to a system is the knowledge that inevitably *something* will disrupt it.

It might even be something good, like friends I'm excited to see visiting messing up my grocery system.

But messed up it will be, and that is very hard for me to handle. Not having a system or routine makes things hard, but coming to rely on one that just kind of 💨 puffs out of existence one day is much harder.

Maybe I need to go one level deeper? Maybe I need meta-systems? Systems for managing how to use systems, so everything stays nice and reliable 😅

Left renewing my house insurance to the absolute last minute as I get this dreadful freeze up and flee response when it comes to trying to negotiate better deals. Could be feeling frustrated with myself but instead I choose to say "well done! You renewed and your house is protected" and just ignore the fact that I prob paid higher than I should.
