So, my experiments with "A.I." coding assistants have run their course.
Summary: meh.
Did you know that I offer all my services (coding, coaching and consulting) with Ai (Actual Intelligence)? If you are interested in working with me holla me!
There is a certain analogy between food and intelligence when it comes to the distinction 'real' and 'imitation'. The distinction between noodles with beef and noodles with beef _taste_ is similar to the distinction between real human intelligence and imitiation intelligence ("AI"). So also: noodles with chicken vs noodles with chicken _taste_; smoked bacon, vs bacon with added smoke aroma chemical.

So the topic of AI is so nuanced that it hard to explain exactly what is not okay about it, and the state of the tech industry in general. Folks tell me that “it’s the future” and “I use it as a tool”. While I agree in part, it’s not being implemented in a way that benefits individual human beings or mankind as a whole. Mike Gastin explains exactly how I feel about it.
