Wednesday #DailyTracks: #Acoustica has updated #Mixcraft Pro to 10.5 .The big surprise for this free update is a new stem separation module but lots of other stuff to keep up with the jonesing. For first timers this #DAW is probably a best *bang for buck* scenario and just keeps getting better
Many moons ago in a review of #Acoustica #Mixcraft #CraigAnderton voiced his astonishment (without elaborations) at how long it had taken someone, anyone- to implement softsynth multis on a DAW track without duplicative hoop jumping. From a dev standpoint the necessary #SDK's were already a decade on, so the frustration was widespread. Mixcraft is still too slow for loading live set and program changes- you have to plan around the loads, but they got there 1st- and deserve full credit
