After 1am, a random thought pops into my head: @retrosponge & I started a Christmas wishlist of groceries we'd like to get if we wind up with gift cards this Christmas.

Me: Add Polysporin & bandaids to the list. My Polysporin expired back in Feb & it's really something we should have on hand (we've had to use the expired tube to treat a couple of wounds this year)

Him: Yeah, my first thought was, why do we need that, and then I remembered who we are....

Thing I was not expecting today: a piece of bamboo slicing my finger.

Rude. I haven't even finished healing from slicing an edge of my thumb off along with some cabbage last week. At least this one didn't bleed for 2 hrs 😆
Usually I'm burning myself, looks like I'm going through an accidental slice n dice phase.
