Aujourd'hui et demain, c'est le comptage national des oiseaux de jardin. L'occasion pour se poser une heure chez soi près du balcon ou du terrain (ou dans un parc public) pour observer les oiseaux. Déjà ça fait un bien fou et ensuite, ce comptage sert à établir un suivi scientifique sur l'avifaune française.

Today and tomorrow in France is the national garden bird count. It's a great opportunity to take an hour out on your balcony or garden (or in a public park) to watch the birds. Firstly, it's great fun, and secondly, the count is used for scientific monitoring of local birdlife. There are probably similar initiatives in your area, so don't hesitate to ask.
