This is a very interesting Academic #librarian #academicLibrarian Job available in my city. My very first (and second) Library job was at Macewan University. I've always thought back fondly of that place. Some very lovely librarians work there.

I'm also up for election as a union representative to a campus senate committee. That election ends Friday. If I end up getting it, I'll bow out of the HOA board election because
1. the incumbents are fine and
2. omg senate committees are a fair bit of work
I did expect to know "by Tuesday the 28th" if the HOA board incumbents were running, but maybe "by Tuesday" doesn't mean what I think it means /s grumble our property management is bad at doing what they say they'll do

TLDR Chatbots have guardrails to keep them from discussing controversial/difficult topics, which is one reason why you shouldn't trust them to do your research for you.

I've tried some of these searches using my library's Primo Research Assistant and can confirm this behavior. I feel pretty good about not enabling PRA on the main library interface--it's only on in the test interface. #primo #chatbots #academiclibrarian
