It seems like every year there’s a game that demonstrates the virtue of narrowly- focused game design. In the case of Abyssus, the game is about fun PvE #FPS action with your friends. There’s very little time spared for story and puzzles, and the level design is mostly just “is this a fun room to fight enemies in”? But the shooting and various progression elements that augment it are all top tier.
