The whole thing should serve as a reminder how easy it is for the "political center" to point at the US and how absurd their El Salvadorian prison camps and the wall on the border to Mexico are, but (at best) turn a blind eye at stories like this and the systematic drowning of refugees in the Mediterranean. Pure hypocrisy.
