Juggling full time higher education with a disability/chronic illness is a struggle, in and of itself. And in the experience I've had, as much as individuals try to help to make it possible for you to continue to study, the institutions themselves make it really bloody hard. Harder than it should be, really. I had naively thought that the pandemic and moving everything online would help make things more accessible. If anything, it has somehow made it worse, as institutions now seemed to really dig their feet at the idea of providing online access instead of face-to-face.

Apparently I asked CSN for an exception 2017. Around that time I divorced, moved out, and tried to support me and The Offspring, so my memories of that time is hazy. It's not strange that I didn't get my shit together when it came to my courses. But I asked for the execption refering to my autism diagnosis, and got denied. This came up because I've applied for forgiveness of one of my student loans.
