Originally recorded and released in 1976 on Rashid Vally’s As-Shams (Sun) label.

That presentation of Jabula is clearly linked in my memory to the ? 1976 version (Edit: Remembering 1968 Jabulani) only by the rhythm and sequence of the central chord progression.
Everything else, the centrality of the percussion, the expanse of "white space", the frugality of trumpet, and piano only sprinkled late is new. And demands I go listen to that recording from half a century ago.
