　お笑い芸人・藤井隆、タレント・井上咲楽が司会を務める、ABCテレビ・テレビ朝日系『新婚さんいらっしゃい！』（毎週日曜　後0：55）のあす29日放送回には、「面食い肉食妻と超絶イケメン夫」が登場する。　2人の出会いは2021年、マッチングアプリでのこと。元カレと別れたばかりだった妻が茨城県在住で検索したところ、夫のプロフィール写真を目にして衝撃を受ける。「茨城にこんなイケメンがいるはずない！」と詐欺かマルチ商法を疑っていた。同じく元カノと別れたタイミングだった夫は、仕事の都合で茨城に転勤してきたばかり。まずは友達がつくれたらとアプリを使うも、引っ込み思案が災いし、やり取りが面倒になってきた矢先に妻とマッチング。グイグイ来られる圧に押され、しぶしぶ会うことになったという。
