MadalignedYesterday I thought I would’ve had election anxiety but seeing as I truly don’t care who wins this election. The possibilities of tomorrow and creating a plan to show up in my community, show solidarity, and resist creates a warm feeling in me that I can only consider as something that is tantamount to hope building inside of my chest. Like whoever wins I’ll have to adapt and fight their presidency but knowing that I will show up and endure the struggle instead of choosing cowardice and complacency makes me feel idk happy. Like I wish there weren’t systems of dominance I had to fight but as long as there are and as long as I’m alive I will fight to make my voice heard. I encourage others to choose resistance over maintaining a corrupt system or praising politicians any day. Voting for president will not save us.
