Subtitles are in #WebVTT format and playable in MPV or VLC, for example. If you view the subtitle file, you see there are some things not rendered by the video player. Even though WebM and WebVTT are standards for WWW browsers, the WWW browsers do not support showing the subtitles. The subtitles are available both embedded in the video and as a separate file.
