The La Osa Energy Center is a massive 3,385 acre data center complex proposed in Pinal County. If approved, the project will be one of the largest data center complexes in the state, if not the largest. It will have 59 large scale data center buildings (each about 400,000 square feet), two on-site gas fired power plants, and a battery energy storage system. It is expected that the project will be discussed at the Pinal County Board of Supervisors meeting on May 27. Supporters argue the project could generate jobs, tax revenue, and infrastructure investment. However, there are serious concerns with the project regarding environmental impacts, increases to residents electric bills, groundwater depletion, and more. We need to show up and demand that the Pinal County Board of Supervisors put people before date centers. Join us on Wednesday, May 27th at 9:30 AM to urge the Pinal County Board of Supervisors to vote NO on La Osa Data Center Complex!
