Nobody. At least relationship wise.

On the trek to the village Gavin and Pintac figure out their wants in life are different directions. And since they're reasonable adults that talk to each other (yes this is also a vague post about a couple I know), they mutually end the relationship.

Liv and Parthia were in a mutual no-strings relationship since Liv is heading to a major city in Spring to study alchemy.

no love triangle miscommunication type shenanigans.

#TCotWS : mid 30's
#AWolfsLullaby : early 20's
Wytch-Fork: The Witch & The Wolf: late 20's, and 500+yrs
Wytch-Fork: Lament & Lauderant: early 30's, and early to mid 40's
HARRIDAN: Project 531L ; mid 30's , and technically a few months old (age is an odd thing when dealing with NHPs [non human person] )

#pennedpossibilities 288 — How social is your MC or SC? Do they thrive around others or do they prefer being alone?

Parthia: She's fine with solitude when she chooses it. But to her core she's a social creature. She's an /otherness/ within her village but still highly a part of it. Her self exile in #TCotWS broke her a bit. It also rippled through the community, as she was sort of a heart of the village, amplifying the closeness there. In her absence the general mood took a down turn.
In #AWolfsLullaby we'll get to see more of the gregariousness and social butterfly side of her.

Pintac: He's usually luke warm, holding no strong need in either direction. Save for when it comes to Parthia. There's something about her that makes him feel like he's right where he should be. He becomes an equally bubbly-gregarious as she is when in her vicinity.

They have many, so we'll go with funny ones

Pintac:
--- The night before he left home to travel abroad for a while, he laid awake & listened to his mum(Orc) saying prayers to the gods asking to steer him away from becoming a wandering musician. Pintac though it was hilarious that was her big concern with him leaving home xD
His dad(human) had once told his mum(Orc) about a bard he knew, that went everywhere. And while she would love grand kids, she didn't want to spend most of the year traveling just to see them all. (This is why she was ecstatic when Pintac settled down with Parthia)

Parthia:
--- The time she fell asleep sunbathing naked on the roof. She fell asleep, rolled/slid off the roof, landed on the bushes, tumbled into the street, startled a donkey, and got kicked in the arse when she was scrambling to get to her feet.
When she met Pintac one of the first things he said was "¿Parthia? Wait.. Are you the one people talk about sleeping naked on their roof?"
She's not bashful about her body or nudity, but it was embarrassing to her that this person that had been visiting the village for maybe 2 weeks tops and how did he know of her?
The village's best hunter?
The best marksman with a bow in the region?
NOPE
This outsider knew her as "the lady that sleeps naked on roofs"

Is your MC spontaneous or a planner?

Parthia: Spontaneous adaptive planning.
Outside looking in she'll appear pretty completely spontaneous, Her plans are loose frameworks, constantly adjusting.
} Leaves house "Ok, go get the herbs from the herbalist"
} halfway there "It's nice and warm out. Get herbs, then see if Pintac wants to go to the meadow after lunch" and so on

Pintac: He operates in a similar fashion, but runs with a rolling block of 3-4 tasks in que, and is a bit more methodical, a habit learned while sailing on cargo ships.

So how did I end up at an Autumn celebration, getting my ass handed to me in a match of Ku’rab?

It started with me getting into a fight with a monkey. Well rather Gavin who I was dating at that time, got into a fight with the helmsman's fucking pet monkey.
Gods above and below, that fucking monkey. I should have chucked the malicious fucker overboard during that storm.
I'm getting side tracked.
After we had that gladiatorial fight with the helmsman's fucking pet monkey, Gavin and I decided to take our earnings and do something else for Winter, you know to take a breather. Neither of us had enjoyed working the cargo routes during the storms of last Winter. So we figured we'd come back in Spring, and find a different ship to sign onto… one without a fucking monkey.

So I invented a pretty simple game for my current WiP #AWolfsLullaby , called Ku'rab.
It involves posts at either end of a length of space with point assigned hooks/branches.
A small Hoop made of woven vines, about the size of a hand from finger tip to wrist.

Because my brain doesn't like to half ass #WorldBuilding,
The logic went like this
1: What's a relatively low complexity rules game a rural village might play at Harvest Celebrations & such
2: How do I craft it so it's easily adapted for modern day, with the notion of making it adaptable for play by people that use #wheelchairs

In other words, if I'm going to invent a game, it needs to be playable IRL, and it should be available to as many people as I can make it.

I'll post sketches in a day or two and solict feedback then.
