I've said this before and I'll say it again. I do think the 90s was peak #cinema . Just finished watching A River Runs Through it.
Its not a particularly exciting movie. Mostly just Robert Redford narrating stories of Normal Maclean.
But it is just so damn good. I'm probably drawn to it cause of the scenery - but I do love just seeing how life was back then.
Worth the watch if I do say so myself.
A ★★★★ review of A River Runs Through It (1992)
This is the film that got me into robert redford movies. I can't even explain why I like this movie. Its just great story telling. Could also be the scenery. What I wouldnt' give to see this movie made today with all the 4k/8k technology we have now. I need to read the book this is based on.
