Having fun this series. (sstv series 31)
Working doppler shift on 70cm isn't nearly as much trouble as I expected.

It does seem like the bottom of the images is getting cut off. I've noticed it on most of the images I've captured this weekend.

Still haven’t been able to capture a clean image from the #iss #sstv event. Good enough for the award though. #ariss does a great job with this and makes it fun to try! #hamradio

Bin endlich mal wieder dazu gekommen, SSTV von der ISS zu empfangen. Allerdings kommt die Handfunke mit der Gummiwendel bei 70cm doch stark an ihre Grenzen -- wobei mir nicht ganz klar ist, woran das liegt, Hindernisse sollten ja keine im Weg sein. Vielleicht hat der Sender eine geringere Leistung als der auf 2m? Oder die Empfangsantenne ist für 70cm einfach Mist?

Ugh, grey drizzly morning in the UK and I'm awake earlier than I want to be. But, there's an ARISS event on, so I'm wandering my local area with a radio, recording signals from the space station.

437.550MHz today, which is unusual, but my radio can handle it. First intercept of the day at 0958, just catching the end of an SSTV image. Will decode it later to see if it's any good. Now, though, breakfast.

Contact #Ariss en vue ! Bon OK, ce n'est pas Sophie Adenot mais il faut aussi laisser la place aux autres astronautes... Contact audible en France. On devrait entendre parfaitement le début du contact car l'ISS sera déjà à quelques degrés d'élévation

I just received the first three #SSTV Series 31 images from the #ISS 04/10/2026 14:18UTC pass.

It looks like the images are cut off a bit at the bottom. The last line of text is cut off. I see the same thing on the images others posted to the gallery.
