Lee from Philly 🇺🇦Just watched “A Private Life,” a French thriller starring Jodie Foster whose French - to my English ear, anyway - seemed impeccable. More importantly, her acting, as usual, was outstanding. I’m surprised she didn’t receive an Academy award nomination for this role. The plot was complex and clever, and even surprisingly humorous. Highly recommend!
💀 𝓕airchild 💀I liked it, about 2/3 through I knew where it was going, and I wasn't mad about it. But I suspect a lot of viewers will be. It was good, not 'great', but good. I'll watch it again without subtitles later.
