One antique chip posted from the UK, a small piece of tape, a tiny act of vandalism, and finally my Amiga has achieved a new level of hackery. One whole megabyte of chip RAM!
Just to stocktake here, what used to be a stock revision 5 Amiga 500 now has ...
- a 68010 CPU
- an upgraded Angus to support 1MB of chip RAM
- an 8 meg RAM expansion and IDE controller
- Kickstart 3.2 ROM
- a gotek floppy emulator
- 64GB SDD
- Compact Flash card reader
It's getting closer to done, I guess. Not much else to do without turning it into something completely different.
