I don't have any #kdrama going right now! I just finished #FatedToLoveYou earlier this month.
I finished the #cdrama
#TheStoryOfMingLan last night in a pretty fast binge. 😅
The 1995 #AChineseOdyssey movies will be leaving Netflix soon, so i watched the first one this weekend. Think 1990s Mel Brooks comedy on a classic. I can compare to #AKoreanOdyssey , too!
#WinterBegonia is a watch party ending soon. Very good!
#WandeeGoodDay gets too steamy for me to watch often. #ThaiBL
"A Korean Odyssey ¨,
Starting episode 17.
It took me a month to get there ...
It is the strangest Kdrama I ever watched.
I like it, the cast, and I am great fan of The Hong Sister's dramas. ( Except ¨BIG¨)
Watched all their dramas at least twice.
One moment I am really into it, having the "Aha !" moments.
The other moment I am lost, confused, out of it.
That was also when it aired.
But getting there, and perhaps there will be a time I want to rewatch it.
Does anybody who watched it remember the scene where the leads have to go "into a movie¨ ?
In that movie walking around in a historical setting early 20th C. Must be "Nonsan Sunshine Studio ´.
Cha Seung-won reading a newpaper-article about "Lee Soo-il and Sim Soon-ae - "
Based on a Korean novel inspired by a Japanese 19th C novel.
Complicated but very interesting !
I found little information about it on a Korean page that does not translate well. Anybody ?
Fully into A Korean Odyssey.
Now I realize coming out of one rabbit hole diving into another one immediately is not the thing to do. That happened twice with this drama before.
A logical straight-on office drama without any doomtruck or closets full of ignored, forgotten memories is the way to go.
A Korean Odyssey
Halfway episode 3.
I remember Cha Seung-Won as Woo Whee getting annoyed by Zombie's odor, putting her in the fridge soon after her first appearance.
I was not even aware it was Lee Se Young, before seeing her in the All Time Classic "The Red Sleeve Cuff¨.
I stopped for some reason because of *no idea what*.
@JillsJoy mentioning her made me start watching again.
In small portions, but enjoying !
Day 7: what I'd recommend to someone looking for a great ensemble cast
#AKoreanOdyssey is so fun, with many animal deities as humans, FT Island's Lee Hong-Ki as a pig deity, Lee Seung-gi with iconic triangle bangs as a monkey deity, Lee Se-Young as the most adorable zombie you've ever seen, a murderous dog secretary, a gender fluid summer/winter god, an octopus prince, and a demon-repelling yellow polka dotted umbrella.
#kdrama #DramaRecsChallenge
