Does your current antagonist share any traits with you?
A.I. Antagonist Infernale is clearly how I wish to be perceived online. Mysterious with no traces of my identity. xD
Nah for real I think the real common thing is my tendency to hold long monologues about everything.
In our Magic the Gathering games I always talk the trash talkers down by simply out doing them in trash talk and in DND my characters all the time have a clap back onto the Big Bad Evil ones. I use my abilities more for an incredible amount of bad jokes than Antagonist Monologue to be honest.
Ariaene aka Antagonist Junior. I don't see many things they has in common with me. I have selective Memory and before COVID hit I had an insane memory capacity for social interactions (despite having way less capacity for such interactions). I guess AJ is my way of "dealing with such changes in a way?"

Antagonist POV: Which do you prefer, sunrise or sunset?
AI: "My dear Terran friend why would I talk about such a trivial thing? Have you seen space? It's the eternal night it doesn't matter what verbal inadequacy I prefer."
Ariaene reed the text on the screen as the letters slowly popped into existence, bright green on dark grey to black, they looked suspiciously: "Haven't we talked about that exact same question already?" Their eyes narrowed down "What is going on? Are you trying to spy on me? Who send you?" Their hand slides to the place where they usually kept their sidearm, while simultaneously looking around in the room.They doesn't find it, the room seems perfectly fine. Something in their mind just actually seemed to remember. But it's gone again. AJ slumped down on their bed knowing that they lost something. Eyes staring into the void of their memory.

A.I. the mysterious puppeteering force in the background, motivation unclear, goals unclear, identity unclear. Could be evil but doesn't act like that, like villainous monologues but never Resorts to villainous deeds. Only communications are done by electronics, speaker, holographics, text messages. A.J. the relatable one. Flawed suffering from partial memory loss/memory fragmentation, has an uncanny ability to escape but doesn't seem to have any super secret powers at all. Could be your average day Terran. If your antagonist magically appeared in your home, would you two get along?
Well in case of A.I. I would probably assume someone try to spy on me sending me an Alexa device or some compound SH17.
AJ would be a different thing. They is a very extreme person. They is a special forces soldier o.o.c. and the tec they uses is magic from our perspective but in the other hand Ariaene also has severe memory issues and it would absolutely depend from which situation they arrive at my home and where.
Sleeping in my bed would be the worst case scenario because that's usually the time when AJ wakes without memory how they got somewhere after a shipload of bad dreams.
And I don't think "you popped into existence under my blankets" will help in deescalating the scene.

Antagonist Infernale (AI): "What concerns me, is Terra, Khalit, Morrakhar, Betosia, Asza und Trellwa Prime. The core of the Union isn't as stable as one might think, but i don't loose sleep over it, instead I forge them into the sturdy core we need.
Ariaene Johnsen (AJ/Antagonist Junior): "Every evening I face the horror that I most likely will not remember anything from today. So what do you think... Waking up not knowing where you are, who you are exactly, only remembering one thing for certain the shit that haunts you in your dreams. What keeps me up at night, stims and not sleeping, to cling to some memories rather than none..."

How is the antagonist’s community/group perceived by the people in your world?
well their is more than one antagonististic force in the Star Ryde universe.
The stories Antagonist isn't the known quantity sort of.
Most people in the Union see Matriarc, the Bethosian Outcast, as the most dangerous Antagonist for the Union.
Only few citizens would knew about AJ or AI directly. Their black armored Marines on the other hand are often seen around battlefields.
Most in the military think that they might be part of a Terran centric separatist group that call themselves Seraph.

If your antagonist had to live a week of your MC’s life, how would it affect them?
It would be quite chaotic not for AJ but for the crew.
Ariaene already has to deal with a not proper functioning memory it would just change who they sees & and what they writes in their personal log. A lot of stress for the crew and maybe even an complete abort of the mission.
AI wouldn't be step out of the shadows and mostly trying to convince the crew via voice to follow it's "ideas." While the crew wouldn't care much and rather make sure to mute the speaker and cut their access to the system, probably shutting down Ash in fear of being compromised. Possibly stranding the ship in space.

Describe a “happy life” according to your antagonist.
AI: Never talks about that but it's often talked about doing the right thing to preserve the Union etc it's questionable how much of this is real & how much just sound a good enough to convince others.
Ariaene Johnsen/AJ: For AJ it's their dream of going back to the life they lost. Together with their wife & soulmate Kiara. Running the backery & restaurant they dreamed of in their home colony after their service time. But life was different, now AJ seems to seek revenge or a cure for their shattered memory, in days where it isn't as bad, one of AI's henches often takes time & talks with them, otherwise acting like a personal assistant, in this conversations AJ often feels good enough to enjoy the moment. Sadly they isn't able to make a long lasting memory in print to remember this feeling in a regular basis.
