i'm also just exhausted by this constant lying, bullshittery, hundreds of billions of $/€ set on fire, the data-center craze, and dealing with corporate fuckwits way above my pay grade who insist we all "learn AI" when it will help us do exactly fuck-all better and faster.

Yeah sure if you sit in from of a PC all day doing MS Office drudgery, it will help you build that stuff faster (but not always better). For writing technical documentation or doing detailed drawings and illustrations, no it will not help me at all.

It can’t deliver live customer-facing machinery training that I also do about 75% of the time. "Oh just make a video of how to do that thing.” “No, you don't understand what that thing is, how to fix it when it breaks or whatever, and how it can seriously hurt or even kill you if you fuck around.” "You just hate AI!"
