The new "int'l digital strategy" of the EU says "decoupling [from the rest of the world] is unrealistic and cooperation will remain significant across the tech value chain."

This is a good start to acknowledge that #DigitalSovereignty cannot simply mean #BuyEuropean; it must increase the people's #sovereignty to use our tech the way we see fit. And invest in tech that reduces risks of centralisation, mass #surveillance, economic #corruption, and #exploitation.

And no, #AIFactories ain't it.
